Boxes of Old Liquor arrive in South Florida
Finally, a year later than planned, more than 100 crates filled with the rarest port, madeira, and oldest cognac and spirits on Earth were unloaded today in South Florida.
We had many nightmares during the over two-week journey from Rotterdam to Port Everglades, Florida. We are so happy that none of the two containers containing the crates fell overboard. We have been able to comply with the dreaded Customs inspections in the USA and to avoid potential customs complications that may arise when bringing in more than 10,000 bottles of old beverage. Our bottles are now safe in the Customs warehouse in Miami until the new showroom is ready and sales and deliveries can begin.
