This sensational vintage Speymalt Macallan was distilled on the 12th April 1945 and matured at the Macallan distillery, in casks 106 and 109, for many years before being moved to a Gordon & MacPhail bonded warehouse in Elgin on the 17th May 1978 and the 14th July 1980 respectively.
The casks lay there until the decision was made to finally bottle this landmark Speysider, at the ripe old age of 68, on the 15th August 2013.
Comes complete with a beautiful wooden presentation case, COA and tasting notes.
