Delftblue Jar of Bols Liqueur, With Additional Stopper

This beautiful hand-painted bottle, or decanter, has a ceramic and cork stopper. The design features windmills, water, buildings and clouds in a cartouche surrounded by stylized florals. Marked, “Delft Blue/ Hand-painted scr./ Made in Holland” and embossed “BOLS” on the base. Height: 5 inches (12.7 cm). Circa 1950's. Excellent condition!

About the Brand


In 1575, the Bols family started a distillery called 'het Lootsje' where they would distill liqueurs and also genevers from 1664 onwards. This was the starting point of what would become the world's oldest distilled spirits brand.
